The Review

Strawberry Kush from Hemp Elf has been one CBD strain that I keep going back to. I’ve also heard from many of other hemp bud fans that this is one of their favourite CBD flower strain. Therefore, I’ve finally got round to writing a review on it.  

Delivery and packaging: 10/10

Hemp Elf has started sending their buds in plastic pots like those used in American states with medical cannabis. They are airtight and preserve the buds well during transit.

Orders from Hemp Elf usually arrive the very next day, providing you get your order in before early afternoon. Shipping costs £5. 

Aesthetics: 10/10

Boy did I have some beautiful looking buds in this order of 3.5g. They were big and sturdy, and colourful – A deep green leaf overlayed with tinges of purple and loads of orange hairs. A dusting of trichomes could also be seen coating the mouth-watering buds.

Smell: 9/10

As I’ve said many times, the aroma of CBD hemp flowers does not yet compare with typical high-grade weed. However, Strawberry Kush is one of the most pungent strains on sale in the UK.

It is bursting with fresh, sweet and fruity aromas. To me, it smells just like strawberries and cream… although I could just be being influenced by the name. Either way, Strawberry Kush is a tantalisingly sweet smelling CBD flower.

Taste (smoking vs vaping)

Smoking: 9.5/10

The sweet fruit flavour is not lost in combustion when it comes to Strawberry Kush. In fact, I think I prefer smoking this strain over vaping. You really get a full-bodied taste with each puff. And the smoke is also smooth. Perfect for mixing with other fruity strains with more THC.

Vaping: 9.5/10

A great hemp strain to vape, Strawberry Kush produces big clouds with plenty of flavour.

Effects: 10/10

Relaxing, uplifting and anxiety-destroying. That’s what a good CBD weed should feel like, and this strain has exactly these effects. It’s also great for pain and sleep.

Price: 8/10

Hemp Elf is one of the more expensive CBD bud shops in the UK. I, for one, however, do not mind -paying a bit more for such consistently good strains, fast delivery and exceptional customer service.
